Latest webcast: get ready for the GDPR

New webcast published to help you understand the impact of the General Data Protection Regulation, which comes into force in May 2018.

  • A new webcast has just been published on the Hub covering the important changes to data protection coming into force on 25th May 2018.

Claire Williams, a member of the technology law team at Mills & Reeve, provides some pointers as to how the General Data Protection Regulation will operate, outlines the key principles underlying the new regulation and highlights the issues that family lawyers will need to consider as they get ready for implementation.

Fines for breaches will be swingeing and that, coupled with potentially significant reputation damage, makes it crucial that family law practices make sure they are prepared.

The webcast (for members only) is available here.
